Sometimes, it seems in the middle of life we can get caught in the busy and forget Him. Especially, this time of year.

Yet, when we slow down and join with others, and focus on loving others by meeting their needs, some how our troubles disappear and we can see Him more clearly.

Thank you for sharing the things you are learning and doing. Sounds like it has been a wonderful first week.

Hello! I recently found your blog through the Circle of Moms homeschool blogs. I just began homeschooling my 12yo daughter (7th grade) and I work full time! My oldest daughter got married in June. No grandbabies yet. I have an 18yo son, and also a 9yo son (besdies our 12yo daughter). Life is busy. I like your blog and hope you don't mind if I follow along in your journey.

We do a Jesse Tree also. This year our tree looks very different since all my Christmas stuff is in a storage unit, but the point and spirit of why we do it is so much more important.
