As stated before, this series of youth seeks to spotlight amazing young people making a difference in their world. We also seek to offer resources for young people.

We we want children and teens to enjoy each season of their life in a healthy, positive, playful way. We encourage the pursuit of wisdom.
"Whoever is wise, let him heed these things and consider the great love of the LORD."
-Psalm 107:43 (NIV)

What we have been finding is that after the age of sixteen, many (who often go unnoticed in the media) are building upon their well rounded years and reaching beyond themselves.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity" - 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV)

Today we spotlight the organization: "She's the First"

This is Ali, and Im excited to guest blog once again. I have posted about "She's the First" once before. I would love to update you on this amazing media campaign, so that you may keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

On November 1, 2009, She's the First released their PSA!

On wwww.shesthefirst.org you will find information about the program, the team, and ways you can support She's the First. Corporations, organizations, and even small groups have the opportunity to sponsor a girl in parts of Africa and Asia.

You can keep up to date through their blog! These posts have the ability to empower you ! They make you want to DO SOMETHING! www.shesthefirst.org/blog

What has God laid on your heart to do? What will you be the first at? Nothing is impossible with God, and that is my challenge for you this week. Accept that as complete truth, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD! Have you ever seen, heard, read about something that made you go "I need to do something about this"? Then do it! Don't let worries and doubts hold you back. Live life to the fullest, be the first at something great, big or small. You can make a difference just like these amazing ladies!

I encourage you to keep She's the First in your prayers, and that the organization will be blessed abundantly!
